What a weekend of rugby league we can look forward to.

Not only are we set to see three top class NRL clashes but some seismic cup ties will take centre stage.

This weekend we will be treated to the 1895 Cup semi-finals, the Women’s Challenge Cup Final and of course the Men’s Challenge Cup semi-finals.

Thursday

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Brisbane Broncos – Sky Sports Arena 10:50
Both South Sydney and Brisbane currently sit on eight points after eight games after up and down start to the seasons. So, a win for either side in this clash would be massive for them as they look to cement their play-off chances or even a faint whiff of the top four.

Friday

Canberra Raiders vs Canterbury Bulldogs – Sky Sports Arena 09:00
The Raiders have struggled so far this season and are one of five sides locked at the bottom on just two wins and four points. Another of them is Canterbury but oddly the Bulldogs will be much happier after Luke Thompson helped lead them to victory over Sydney last week. A win for either here would be key.

Saturday

Sydney Roosters vs Gold Coast Titans – Sky Sports Action 08:30
After that surprise defeat to the Bulldogs, Sydney will look to get their up and down season back on track against a struggling Gold Coast side in need of a win after just two wins from eight.

St Helens vs Leeds Rhinos – BBC Two 11:30
In the Women’s Challenge Cup Final at Elland Road, holders and Super League Champions St Helens take on two-time winners Leeds Rhinos in a repeat of last year’s Grand Final. The two teams are currently the best in the women’s game so this should be a great occasion.

Wigan Warriors vs St Helens – BBC One 14:00
From the Women’s Challenge Cup holders to the team who won the men’s cup in 2021, St Helens take on their biggest rivals Wigan in the second game in this weekend’s exciting triple-header. The top two in Super League, something has to give in the road to the final.

Huddersfield Giants vs Hull KR – BBC Two 16:30
In the second of the semi-finals and the finale of the triple-header, two teams who are developing rapidly and would love a shot at Challenge Cup glory in 2022. Two exciting teams full of promising British talent, it should be a great game deserving of being a semi-final.

Sunday

Barrow Raiders vs Featherstone Rovers – OurLeague App 14:00
Switching gears to the 1895 Cup semi-finals, Barrow take on Featherstone as major underdogs despite a positive start to the season. Can the holders, Featherstone, return to the final by maintaining their unbeaten season.

Leigh Centurions vs Sheffield Eagles – OurLeague App 16:00
Many would believe that Featherstone-Leigh would be the ideal final, but Sheffield will be hoping to spoil the party against a star-studded Leigh side. With a history of cup upsets, will the Eagles write their own script?
