Super League

Every rugby league match you can watch live on TV this week

Last week was one of the biggest weeks in the rugby league calendar but the fun doesn’t stop there as we welcome another Super League and NRL feast this weekend. In both competitions the play-off race is beginning to hot up and it’s only going to get more exciting with some seismic clashes this week.

Thursday:

10:45 Sky Sports Mix – Paramatta Eels v Canberra Raiders

Two teams that were tipped for big things in 2021 do battle on Thursday. The two sides have experienced drastically different fortunes this term with the fourth placed Eels living up to expectations whilst the Raiders haves struggled. Paramatta are looking to cement their top four standing with a win whilst the Raiders are desperately trying to claw their way inside the top eight. The currently sit outside the play-off spots on points difference alone.

19:00 Sky Sports Mix – Huddersfield Giants v Hull FC

Like Canberra, Huddersfield went into this season with high hopes but have found themselves struggling. The Giants are down to the bare bones of their squad whilst their play-off hopes slowly slip away. Hull FC meanwhile have surprised a few. New coach Brett Hodgson has them playing good rugby and currently has them in the play-off spots. Another win here would be vital.

Friday:

10:50 Sky Sports Mix – North Queensland Cowboys v Melbourne Storm

Top of the table Melbourne do battle with seller dwellers North Queensland on Friday. Melbourne need a win if they’re going to continue to storm their way to the Minor Premiership. Meanwhile, North Queensland’s season isn’t over just yet. They may lie in 13th spot but a win and results elsewhere going their way could leave them within touching distance of the top eight.

Saturday:

8:25 Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Mix – Manly Sea Eagles v Wests Tigers

After a brilliant victory last time out, Wests fans now believe they have an outside chance of making the eight. To do so they’ll need to beat a Manly side full of class who sit sixth in the league. Expect this one to be an open and enjoyable affair.
