Every player Castleford Tigers, Hull FC and Hull KR could have missing this week

Injuries are part and parcel of spot and everyone knows that.

But, the 2022 Super League season has been an incredibly difficult one for a number of teams due to the insurmountable injury list that has plagued the year as well as the increasing number of suspensions that are seemingly being dished out by the Disciplinary Match Review Panel.

The likes of Castleford Tigers, Hull KR and Hull FC have been badly affected with the list hitting double figures for most of the campaign so far. But, who could be missing for each of these teams?

Castleford Tigers

Cheyse Blair (head), Niall Evalds (shoulder), Sosaia Feki (quad), Ryan Hampshire (ACL), Jake Mamo (head), Nathan Massey (knee), Suaia Matagi (suspended), Callum McLelland (knee), Adam Milner (suspended), Danny Richardson (unknown), Alex Sutcliffe (knee), Jake Trueman (ACL), Jordan Turner (shoulder), Liam Watts (suspended).

Incredibly, that is 14 players that could be out for Lee Radford as the Tigers travel to the Huddersfield Giants on Thursday night hoping for a repeat of the result at the Jungle back in July, though Jordan Turner could make his long-awaited comeback.

Hull FC

Jack Brown (shoulder), Joe Cator (Achilles), Jake Connor (suspended), Kane Evans (suspended), Josh Griffin (quad), Manu Ma’u (hamstring), Ligi Sao (suspended), Andre Savelio (ACL), Cameron Scott (adductor), Adam Swift (leg), Carlos Tuimavave (Achilles).

Brett Hodgson has been able to welcome back some stars to his line-up in recent weeks, but he still has 11 first-team players out.

Hull KR

Jordan Abdull (quad), Charlie Cavanuagh (knee), Lachlan Coote (head), Will Dagger (Achilles), Zach Fishwick (hip), Tom Garrett (concussion), Dean Hadley (shoulder), Luis Johnson (pectoral), Shaun Kenny-Dowall (MCL), Mikey Lewis (ankle), Rowan Milnes (ribs), Harvey Moore (knee), Dan Okoro (unknown), Greg Richards (hamstring), Brad Takairangi (hamstring), Albert Vete (groin).

Everyone else’s injury and suspension list in Super League pales into insignificance when looking at that of Hull KR’s. As many as 16 players could miss out for Danny McGuire’s side in Rovers’ away fixture at St Helens on Friday night.
