Every Challenge Cup clash set to be shown on TV

TV coverage has been confirmed for four games in the sixth round of the Challenge Cup including three all-Super League clashes.

Halifax Panthers vs St Helens – 19th May – Viaplay 19:45
In a repeat of the 2019 Challenge Cup semi-final, this is a huge occasion for Halifax Panthers to test themselves against the absolute best in the shape of the Super League and World Champions St Helens. The Saints meanwhile have only won one Challenge Cup in 15 years and will want to change that adding to their dynasty.

Leeds Rhinos vs Wigan Warriors – 20th May – BBC 14:30
These two have contested three Challenge Cup Finals which have all gone the way of the Warriors but they are the competition’s most successful sides with 34 Challenge Cup trophies between them. They contested the inaugural Grand Final as well as the 2015 decider. Both sides know the road to Wembley better than anyone else.

Salford Red Devils vs Huddersfield Giants – 20th May – Viaplay 19:30
In 2020, Ian Watson led Salford Red Devils to their first Challenge Cup Final since 1969. That was his last season at the club before joining Huddersfield Giants and last year he led them to the Challenge Cup Final losing in the last four minutes of the game against Wigan Warriors. He wants to start on the road to the final again.

Castleford Tigers vs Hull FC – 21st May – BBC 15:00
Concluding the TV coverage from Round Six of the cup is a meeting between Castleford Tigers and Hull FC. Two sides who have struggles at the start of the Super League season, the Challenge Cup would do wonders for them to turn things around.
