Wigan full-back Morgan Escaré has joined Wakefield on loan for the rest of the 2019 season.
The French international has made only six appearances for the Warriors this season and heads to Trinity with immediate effect.
It could be a vital addition for Chris Chester’s side who have been dragged into a relegation dogfight after a poor run of results.
Escaré will be eligible to play against Wigan should he be selected for the Round 27 clash in September.
“I’m looking forward to getting some game time and helping Wakefield in the last five games,” Escaré told the club’s website.
“I’ve not played much this season at Wigan and I feel fresh and ready to go for Trinity. Hopefully I get the chance this week to run out in front of the Trinity fans and give my all for the team.”
Chris Chester added: “It gives us a big boost as we head into the last five weeks.”
“Morgan will add plenty of competition across the backline and inject some energy and pace into the squad.”
