England vs Samoa: Kick-off Time, Venue, TV Channel and Team News

After an exhilarating semi-final last night, England and Samoa step up for their own clash today as they look to join Australia in next weekend’s decider at Old Trafford.

It’s a rematch from game one which saw England defeat Samoa 60-6 in fantastic fashion despite going into the game as underdogs thus they are favourites today.

But it is still a star-studded Samoa side in their way full of NRL Grand Final winners and they are certainly out for revenge.

It’s the biggest game in Samoa’s history whilst England are desperate to make it to a home World Cup Final.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Kick-off time and venue

The game kicks off at 14:30 at the Emirates Stadium.

TV Channel

TV coverage starts at 13:45 on BBC One.

Team News

Shaun Wane has swapped Matty Lees for Luke Thompson in his squad this week. Ryan Hall and Andy Ackers again miss out with Marc Sneyd and Kai Pearce-Paul likely to join them with Wane set to name a similar 17 as to last week.

As for Samoa they have lost both Danny Levi and Martin Taupau. Thus former Featherstone Rovers hooker Fa’amanu Brown comes into the side in Levi’s place.
