REVEALED: England to face Samoa, France and Greece at 2021 World Cup

England have been drawn into a group with Samoa, France and Greece for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup on home soil.

The draw was made at Buckingham Palace by HRH The Duke of Sussex, Jason Robinson OBE and Dame Katherine Grainger.

Elsewhere, world champions Australia are in Group B with Fiji, Scotland and Italy, while the world’s number one ranked team New Zealand will face off with Lebanon, Jamaica and Ireland in Group C.

The final group is made up of Tonga, Papua New Guinea, Wales and the Cook Islands, with the top two from each group progressing to the quarter-finals.

The women’s World Cup draw sees England have a favourable group as they take on Papua New Guinea, Canada and Brazil.

Group B sees heavyweights Australia and New Zealand collide, with France and the Cook Islands having their work cut out to make it through the group of death.

Finally, the Wheelchair World Cup draw sees England face off with Australia, which is sure to be tasty, while Spain and Denmark make up the rest of Group A.

Group B looks wide open and consists of France, Wales, Scotland and the United States.

The 2021 Rugby League World Cup will be held in England with all tournaments taking place between 23 October and 27 November 2021.
