England star scores the 10th most watched try of 2022

Former Huddersfield Giants youngster and now England star Dom Young scored the 10th most watch try of the 2022 NRL season.

The score saw the winger’s huge frame pay off as he plucked the ball out of the sky as Cronulla Sharks attacked to score for the Newcastle Knights showing the speed he possesses which in 2021 saw him register one of the top speeds of the season.

The try is reminiscent of the intercept he went on to score for England against France in the World Cup.

There has been plenty of interest in Young especially as he shone in the World Cup.

Serious About Rugby League previously revealed that the likes of The Dolphins, Melbourne Storm and the Canberra Raiders had an interest in him alongside five Sydney based clubs.

On November 1st, he entered the last 12 months of his current deal allowing other clubs to negotiate with him.

However, according to the Newcastle Herald, his current club the Newcastle Knights are set to make a big play to secure his services moving forward.

They could offer around $400,000 to lock up the winger and talks have been furthered between the Knights and Young and his management.

That said, the Daily Telegraph is reporting that his future is still unclear with the young winger in “hot demand” still and with nine clubs still chasing him yet no decision has been made on his future.

Serious About Rugby League understands that it is unlikely to be decided any time soon.

That’s because Young won’t be back until 28th December. This could therefore delay any decision until after Christmas.
