Eight Super League clubs feature as Try of the Season voting opens

With pre-season starting up in this past fortnight for most teams, the memories of the 2022 domestic season are fading, however, Super League have today announced their 10-try shortlist for try of the season – and they are asking fans to vote.

The list of 10 tries is on the Super League website (linked at the bottom of this article) where fans have the opportunity to vote.

For videos of the ten tries, if they don’t quite stick in your memory, you can check Super League’s social media channels before voting on your favourite.

The list comprises two Salford Red Devils, two Wigan Warriors and then a St Helens, Castleford Tigers, Hull FC, Hull Kingston Rovers, Leeds Rhinos and a Wakefield Trinity score as well.

Hull KR youngster Mikey Lewis looks to defend his crown, having won the 2021 fan-voted poll and he has his superb effort against Salford included in this years list.

Three of the 10 tries have come against the Red Devils but no side features on the receiving end more than Champions St Helens who appear four times.

With a wide range of scores, including passing moves or examples of sheer pace and power, it’s a great way to spend five minutes.

Voting closes on Friday 16th December at 6pm and can be done via the Super League site here.
