Eight of the biggest reported Super League moves expected to take place

It is that time of year when recruitment is the word of everyone’s lips and the rumour mill is well and truly turning.

So, with that in mind, here is every rumoured and reported move set to take place between Super League clubs.

Sam Walters to Wigan Warriors
It was first reported by Leeds Live that Leeds Rhinos were set to lose Walters to Wigan last week. Rohan Smith this week confirmed that Walters turned down a “massive upgrade” on his current contract but couldn’t confirm that he had signed for a rival club. An exit seems likely and Wigan look set to cash in.

Owen Trout to Leigh Leopards
Ian Watson was frank from the off that Trout had turned down a deal from Huddersfield Giants. There was talk that Trout was headed to Hull FC or Castleford Tigers but Tony Smith has all but confirmed that the Black and Whites have missed out on Trout with Leigh swooping in for the forward seemingly. Sadly his season looks over after an injury.

Brad Dwyer to Warrington Wolves
Brad Dwyer started his career at Warrington Wolves and he could finish it there. After leaving Leeds for Hull FC on a one year deal, according to Hull Daily Mail, Dwyer is set to join the Wolves and Tony Smith this week seemed resigned to that fact.

Daryl Clark to St Helens
The Wolves will need Dwyer if Clark leaves to St Helens which is the rumour and according to the St Helens Star a move is “increasingly likely.” According to reports in France, the Saints have also looked at former Leeds star and Catalans Dragons target Kruise Leeming suggesting that maybe the deal isn’t quite over the line.

Sam Wood to Castleford Tigers
Willie Peters confirmed that Sam Wood would be leaving the club a few weeks ago and Castleford emerged as his likely destination. Andy Last meanwhile has confirmed that they have offers to two players and Wood seems to be one.

Jordy Crowther to Castleford Tigers
The other is supposedly Wakefield Trinity’s Jordy Crowther. However, Wakefield boss Mark Applegarth pushed against these reports this week. That said he didn’t definitively rule out the move.

Chris Satae to Catalans Dragons
As Smith seemed resigned to losing Dwyer, he also seemed resigned to losing Satae. Smith said recently they had made him an offer but accepted that Satae was looking at his options. According to the L’Independent in France Satae is set to sign for the Dragons as he leaves Hull FC.

Ethan Ryan to Salford Red Devils
The Hull KR winger, according to the Hull Daily Mail, is headed to Salford Red Devils. The winger was another player Willie Peters has confirmed he is leaving the club.
