Eight fixtures live on TV this week with three free-to-air

The upcoming round of fixtures sees the return of the Challenge Cup and with that free-to-air rugby league on TV.

There’s also a full schedule of Super League, NRL and even the women’s Challenge Cup to get stuck into as well.

Thursday 20th April

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Penrith Panthers: 10:50am on Sky Sports Arena
St Helens vs Warrington Wolves: 8:00pm on Sky Sports Main Event/Arena

The rugby league week kicks off with two huge fixtures, one on either side of the world. Down under we’re treated to reigning champions Penrith heading to Sydney to take on Tom Burgess’ Rabbitohs in a huge clash. That warms us up for the evening’s Super League fixture between St Helens who are looking to bounce back against top of the table Warrington.

Friday 21st April

Castleford Tigers vs Hull KR: 8:00pm on Sky Sports Arena

Friday’s fixture sees red-hot Hull KR travel to the Jungle to take on Andy Last’s Castleford. The Tigers have certainly improved under Last but facing one of Super League’s most in-form teams will be a huge challenge for them.

Saturday 22nd April

Canterbury Bulldogs vs Cronulla Sharks: 8:30am on Sky Sports Arena
North Queensland Cowboys vs Newcastle Knights: 10:35am on Sky Sports Arena
Halifax Panthers vs Bradford Bulls: 7:00pm on BBC iPlayer

Struggling Canterbury host Cronulla in the early kick-off before Jackson Hastings and Dom Young take on North Queensland looking to get over their devasting golden-time loss to Penrith last week. The evening sees free-to-air action as the Challenge Cup returns and it sees a repeat of the Round eight West Yorkshire derby between Halifax and Bradford. The home side will be looking to avenge that loss.

Sunday 23rd April

Cardiff Demons vs Wigan Warriors: 2:00pm on OuRLeague Free
Batley Bulldogs vs Keighley Cougars: 3:00pm on The Sportsman Rugby League Youtube Channel

Sunday sees two Challenge Cup games, one men’s and one women’s game, both available to stream for free. On the OuRLeague app Cardiff Demons host Wigan Warriors whilst the Sportsman’s Youtube channel showcases Batley and Keighley as both sides look to progress to the semi-final of the 1895 cup.
