Eden given huge injury boost

Super League’s top try-scorer Greg Eden doesn’t require surgery and could return from his shoulder injury within the next month.

The winger was expected to miss the rest of the season after landing awkwardly with a trademark acrobatic finish against Salford last week.

However, Daryl Powell have been handed a huge boost ahead of the Super 8s with Eden revealing the good news on his Facebook page.

“For everyone asking about my shoulder it’s not as bad as first thought,” he said.

” No operation needed! Nowt a few thick cut tough beef sarnies and a rehabilitation program of around four weeks can’t sort out. Buzzing.”
