The 2022 Super League table is now taking shape after ten rounds of Super League.
Leaders St Helens slipped up against Castleford Tigers which let the Wigan Warriors close the gap at the top to just points difference.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Toulouse Olympique went down to Leeds Rhinos in what was dubbed by many as a ‘relegation battle’.
The Rhinos ended up being victorious in a 25-14 win and that defeat, according to Eddie Hemmings and Mike ‘Stevo’ Stephenson, condemns the French side to relegation.
“Leeds probably secured their future with victory over Toulouse last weekend,” Hemmings said on the Eddie and Stevo podcast.
“It wasn’t a massive win but a win is a win when you’re down at the bottom of the table.
“It means Toulouse are now three points adrift at the bottom of the table – they are gone now Toulouse, aren’t they?
“You would think so now, that was such a major game by Leeds to win,” Stevo said.
“Toulouse knew that and knew they had the opportunity to jump over the Rhinos.”
The French side now go up against Hull FC on Saturday looking for only their second win of the Super League season.
