Dropped player returns for Castleford Tigers with England star back for Catalans Dragons

It looks set to be a tense affair at the Jungle on Friday night with home side Castleford, who are winless in three, host Catalans Dragons.

The Dragons impressed last week when they defeated St Helens coming from 12-0 down to win 24-12 with new recruit Matt Ikavulu impressing on scoring on debut.

As for the Tigers they conceded 30 unanswered points and put in a second-half performance that Andy Last admitted saw his side get “dominated”.

Perhaps more concerning for the Tigers is a total of just 19 points in their last three games but a positive for them would be that the Dragons have lost their last three on the road.

Andy Last has named his 21-man squad but has only made one change.

Mahe Fonua isn’t back from his compassionate leave but Suaia Matagi, who had been left out on form grounds, is back in for Kenny Edwards.

As for the Dragons Steve McNamara has made changes with the reintroduction of Micky McIlorum who had been suspended before.

Loan Castano replaces Siua Taukeiaho as well.

Castleford pushed Catalans close in the reverse fixture and will be hoping to go a step better this week given their poor form.
