St George-Illawarra Dragons have said they are considering a request from James Graham’s management over a release.
The club says Graham is looking to return to the Super League.
St George say they will consider the request, so long as they can find a replacement.
Graham started his career with St Helens in the Super League. He made over 200 appearances for them and won one Super League title, four Challenge Cups and a World Club Challenge.
The 2008 Man of Steel winner then moved to Canterbury Bulldogs in 2012, and spent seven years there before signing for the Dragons.
