Bradford Bulls will be without new signing Connor Wynne when they take on London Broncos in the Challenge Cup following today’s disciplinary verdict.
The Bulls lost 46-16 to Leeds Rhinos on Saturday afternoon in their final pre-season clash before the competitive action comes around. However, it seems the clash has come at a price for Kurt Haggerty’s side, with Wynne being handed a one-match ban.
Wynne has been hit with a Grade B head contact charge after the high challenge that left Chris Hankinson with a broken nose. The tackle went unpunished at the time but the Match Review Panel have deemed it worthy of six penalty points and a one match suspension.
Wynne is the only Super League player to have been sanctioned this week, but the Match Review Panel have dished out five more charges following last weekend’s action.

Former Bradford man Jordan Lilley has been given three penalty points and a fine for his Grade B dangerous contact against Whitehaven in the second round of the Challenge Cup, while four community players have also charged.
Stanningley pair Fraser Stroud and Jamaine Ruan have been handed five penalty points and a charge and Waterhead Warriors duo Mitchell Birch and Gareth Owen have also been punished, with the latter’s striking charge pushing him over the threshold for a ban.
