Disciplinary round-up: Tomkins up before tribunal, Hardaker gets head-butting ban and Castleford star also in hot water

Following the latest round of Betfred Super League fixtures, the Match Review Panel have issued the following sanctions:

Joel Tomkins (Catalans) – Grade D Punching – Refer to Tribunal

Zak Hardaker (Wigan) – Grade C Head Butting – 2 Match Penalty Notice

Matt Ashurst (Wakefield) – Grade C Dangerous Throw – 2 Match Penalty Notice

George Griffin (Castleford) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – 1 Match Penalty Notice

Ben Reynolds (Leigh) – Grade B Tripping – 1 Match Penalty Notice

James Gavet (Huddersfield) – Grade B Raising Knee in Tackle – 1 Penalty Notice

The following player was handed a caution:

Danny Richardson (Castleford) – Dangerous Contact
