Disciplinary round-up: Castleford Tigers winger handed three-match ban

Castleford Tigers’ James Clare and Liam Harris of York City Knights have both been banned for three games following this evening’s (Tuesday 25 January) independent Operational Rules Tribunal.

Referred by the Match Review Panel for Grade D punching offences during the York City Knights versus Castleford Tigers pre-season match on 16 January, Clare and Harris are also fined £500 and £300 respectively after pleading guilty to the charges.

York’s Pauli Pauli was found not guilty of a Grade B ‘dangerous contact’ with an opponent during the same game.

The following players have accepted penalty notices imposed by the Match Review Panel.

Jacob Ogden, York City Knights: Dangerous contact (Grade B) – 1 match
