DISCIPLINARY: Millington banned for two matches

Castleford Tigers forward Grant Millington will sit out the next two weeks after the Match Review Panel issued him with a ban.

Millington was cited for repeated punching during the Tigers match against Hull KR on Friday, with the Grade C offence carrying a two-match suspension.

He is the only player to be banned following the latest round of Betfred Super League fixtures with Hull FC prop Micky Paea escaping a suspension for raising his knees in the tackle.

Disciplinary round-up:

Grant Millington (Castleford) – Grade C Repeated punching – 2 Match Penalty Notice

Micky Paea (Hull FC) – Grade A Raising knee in tackle – 0 Match Penalty Notice

The following players received cautions:

Micky Paea (Hull FC) – Raising knee in tackle

Eddie Battye (London) – Dangerous Contact
