Dewsbury v Leigh: Squads Announced

The Betfred Championship season gets underway on Friday night, with Dewsbury Rams welcoming Leigh Centurions to the Tetley’s Stadium.

Head Coach Lee Greenwood could hand debuts to Chris Annakin, Dom Speakman, Jon Magrin, Sonny Esslemont, James Thornton, Connor Scott, Davey Dixon, Morgan Punchard and Will Oakes.

Other new signings Sam Moorhouse and Jason Walton will have to wait to make their debuts. Tom Garratt is also unavailable.

Meanwhile, Liam Finn and Michael Knowles could both reach milestones. Finn needs two tries for 15o in his career while Knowles needs one try to reach 100.

Head Coach John Duffy could hand debuts to Ryan Ince, Jarrod Sammut, Nathan Mason, Ben Hellewell, Danny Addy, Mark Ioane, Nick Glohe, Callum Field, Matty Wildie, Craig Mullen, Alex Gerrard and Josh Woods.

Meanwhile, Andy Thornley, Sam Brooks, Martyn Ridyard, Liam Forsyth, Brad Holroyd and Lewis Bienik did not make the final squad.

Also, Greg McNally needs a single point to reach 1,000 for his career.
