Dewsbury Rams have confirmed the signing of Malta and Jamaica international prop Jon Magrin.
The 24-year-old has signed a one-year deal and becomes the club’s second new signing for 2020, joining Wakefield forward Chris Annakin in making the move.
Magrin started his career with London Broncos in 2014 and has since gone on to make over 120 competitive appearances, having spells with London Skolars, Bradford and Sheffield along the way.
He has also represented both Malta and Jamaica at international level, picking up a total of four caps.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing Jon in a Dewsbury shirt.” said Rams head coach Lee Greenwood. “He gives us another dimension to what we already have, but he is joining us for the right reasons and is at a good age for someone who has played Championship rugby for a few years.
“He wants to get back to enjoying his rugby, performing well and being part of something special here.”
