Last week, Leigh Centurions ran out winners over Halifax Panthers.
Both Premier Sports pundits Leon Pryce and Kevin Brown tipped Halifax to win – and they also tipped Featherstone Rovers to win the Championship.
Rovers themselves dropped a point at the weekend, drawing with Batley Bulldogs at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, and Leigh owner Derek Beaumont had some choice words for the duo.
Beaumont tweeted: “Im told @kevjonbrown and @leonpryce6 tipped Fax tonight. Also see fev as favourites for the league love the motivation you provide our quality players that you appear to disrespect.Hope you did better with your tips at Cheltenham lads! Keep saying what you need for the few quid!”

However, in last night’s Premier Sports clash between Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils, Pryce responded in hilarious fashion.
When asked for his thoughts on who would win the Challenge Cup fixture by host Emma Jones, Pryce responded saying: “As long as Derek Beaumont is ok with that I’m going to go with Kev again and say Wigan.”
Wigan and Salford kicked off the Challenge Cup Sixth Round this weekend, with the Quarter-Final draw set to take place at half-time between Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers today live on the BBC.
And, after the footage went round Twitter, Beaumont duly responded in great fashion, saying: “@leonpryce6 fair play,” with numerous clapping and crying with laughter emojis.
