David Fifita trolls Hull with exceptional goalkick

Wakefield earned a surprise 44-12 thrashing of Hull FC last night, but one of the main moments of the game will likely be talked about for a good couple of seasons yet – if only by the man himself.

With the score 42-12 to Trinity following a Kelepi Tanginoa effort late in the game, David Fifita stepped up to take the conversion.

The game was dead and buried but it looks as though Fifita’s kicking career could just be about to take off as he slotted the ball firmly between the uprights for a well-earned two points.

Hull themselves faced an incredible backlash from their fans who were reeling after just one win in their past 11 games.

Wakefield, meanwhile, finished on a superb high under interim head coach Willie Poching, who was able to snatch five wins from seven games to put himself in the running for the Trinity job permanently.

Who knew that he had this in his locker?
