Warrington Wolves are set to be boosted by some major injury news after being cut to ribbons in previous weeks.
Greg Minikin and James Harrison have both been absent the whole season after sustaining ACL injuries midway through last year.
But, they are set to play against Wigan Warriors in the Reserves clash on Saturday at Robin Park Arena, which kicks off at 12 noon
Head Coach Daryl Powell confirmed the news in his weekly press conference stating: “It’s exciting to get them both back.
“I’m keen in particular to see how James goes in the full time environment.
“He got a club record for a front-rower during a Bronco running test here the other week. He’s a good kid and from good stock with his Dad Karl being a former international front-rower.
“He’s fit, has put some size on and is currently around 110kg. Stature-wise he’s similar to someone like Alex Walsmley. He’s got a really good approach to the way he plays.
“These two guys getting ACL injuries was a fair rattler from a recruitment perspective. It gives me options and puts pressure on places. At the moment I think that’s what we need.”
