Darnell McIntosh posts Achilles injury update as he gears up for Hull FC move

Darnell McIntosh will be a Hull FC player in 2022, but the winger is currently on the road to recovery after injuring his Achilles tendon way back in June.

The England Knights representative put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Hull, keeping him at the MKM Stadium until at least the end of the 2025 campaign.

The 24-year-old has already knocked up over 100 competitive appearances since breaking onto the scene in West Yorkshire in 2017, and is considered one of the hottest prospects in the competition with his pace and spectacular try-scoring ability.

A Huddersfield native, McIntosh has scored 47 career tries since making his debut four years ago, including an impressive 14 during the 2018 campaign.

But, the injury suffered earlier in the season derailed his impressive start to the 2021 season, though he does appear to be holding up well as he continued with a leg workout that he posted on his own Instagram.
