Huddersfield half-back Danny Brough has been given a one-match ban and fined £300 for punching Leeds forward Carl Ablett during Friday’s Betfred Super League match.
Tempers flared when Ablett kept hold of Brough during a tackle, with the Scottish international reacting angrily before lashing out at the Rhinos player.
Brough pleaded guilty to the Grade B Punching charge and will miss the Giants next match against league leaders Castleford Tigers this Friday.

What happened to the other player, surely the punch wouldn’t have happened if the other player hadn’t cheated in holding on to the player.
