Current and former Castleford Tigers stars make new media step

When it comes to rugby league, people often think that players train and then take to the field.

That doesn’t even come close to what rugby league stars have to go through to even get anywhere near the pitch.

The mental and physical strain placed on each and every star that dons a rugby league shirt is immense and now a group of current players has decided to broadcast that struggle on their own podcast.

Four stars – Jesse Sene-Lefao, Peter Mata’utia, Suaia Matagi and Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e – have created their podcast and own Youtube show named ‘Talk your Walk’.

The four Samoans will chat about everything concerned with their rugby league lives, including their path into the game as well as their families.

The quartet have set up their own Instagram page as well and posted this after their first session: “Learnt a lot from our first session but happy to finally get it started!! No way near where we want to be but Rome wasn’t built in a day 😉 All about the impact we can have on someone’s life for the better!! @qlaulutogagae #itaintweaktospeak #itaintforlikes

Whilst Sene-Lefao and Mata’utia both left the Castleford Tigers for Featherstone Rovers and Warrington Wolves respectively, Laulu- Togaga’e (QLT) left at the end of 2018 whilst Matagi is the only one to still ply his trade at the Jungle.
