Cronulla Sharks five key fixtures in 2020

The Cronulla Sharks will be looking to build on an okay season in 2020 after the side was eliminated in the first week of the 2019 NRL Finals Series and can do so in these five key fixtures.

Round 2 (Saturday 21st March) V Storm

This game is always one the Sharks turn up for, the 2016 Grand Final re-matches have seen the Sharks win four of seven against the ever dominant Melbourne Storm and will look to continue their good form against the Victorian side in early 2020.

Round 5 (Saturday 11th April) V Roosters

Like the rest of the competition, the defending premiers will be a key opponent for the Sharks, especially early in the season as the Roosters will likely start off in “red hot” form.

Round 7 (Thursday 23rd April) V Sea Eagles

After exiting the competition at the hands of a weakened Sea Eagles side, the Cronulla Sharks will be out for vengeance against a top 4 contender in 2020.

Round 14 (Sunday 14th June) @ Dragons

The South Coast derby takes centre stage in Kogarah at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, the Dragons and Sharks’ shared home ground in 2020.

Round 22 (Friday 14th August) @ Roosters

Not only will the Sharks be up against the defending premiers away from home, if they are in or close to a spot in the finals, a late season victory over the Roosters will be a huge confidence boost for the Sharks.
