Coronavirus: Toulouse won’t travel for weekend clash

Toulouse Olympique won’t travel to England for this Sunday’s Championship fixture against Dewsbury Rams at the Tetley’s Stadium.

The French outfit today closed their doors as the country begins to go into lockdown in the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.

Clubs from the Championship and League One will meet tomorrow with the season likely to be suspended for at least a month.

Dewsbury released a statement on their website earlier today confirming Sunday’s match was postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

“Toulouse have taken the decision to postpone their visit to the Rams until the situation regarding Covid 19 improves to such an extent that travel is considered safe with little risk of either contracting the disease or passing it on to others,” said the statement.
