Warrington Wolves vs St Helens is up next in the Super League play-offs, in another exciting looking tie.
It’s a reversed fixture from when these two sides met at this stage last year, when Saints were the side that had finished third and Warrington had, after a late-season drop-off, had finished sixth.
It was St Helens that emerged victorious on the day last time, before losing to Catalans Dragons in the semi-final.
However, Warrington are, this time, favourites.
We’ve made a combined XIII of players from the two sides.
Full-back: Matt Dufty (Warrington Wolves)
The full-back has been one of the league’s very best performers, comfortably covering the higher number of metres of any player, and recording a league-high number of try contributions.
This year he’s been better than Jack Welsby.
Wingers: Matty Ashton (Warrington Wolves), Tommy Makinson (St Helens)

Two of Super League’s very finest wingers, they have also been key for England across a number of years.
Josh Thewlis comes close, but when available, Makinson is special.
Centres: Toby King (Warrington Wolves), Rodrick Tai (Warrington Wolves)
Even 12 months ago, you would have expected to see Mark Percival here, but Toby King and Rodrick Tai have been excellent this year, in what has been their first season together.
Halves: George Williams (Warrington Wolves), Jack Welsby (St Helens)
Welsby was pushed into the halves here due to a relative lack of quality in this position.
Drinkwater stepped up to the plate well, but other than George Williams, neither of these sides have seen a half excel in 2024.
Front row: Luke Yates (Warrington Wolves), Danny Walker (Warrington Wolves), Matty Lees (St Helens)
Matty Lees’ appearance in the Dream Team surprised a few, but he has certainly been one of the best players in an admittedly weaker looking Saints side this year.
Easier choices, however, were Luke Yates and Danny Walker, both of whom have been excellent all season.
Back row: Matty Nicholson (Warrington Wolves), Lachlan Fitzgibbon (Warrington Wolves), Morgan Knowles (St Helens)
The star-studded pack of Warrington could have had even more players in this team, and Nicholson and Fitzgibbon are two of the very, very best.
Morgan Knowles is quality at lock but John Bateman could have been in instead.
