Things are going great for Leeds Rhinos against Warrington Wolves.
On the back of a sensational performance last week against Huddersfield Giants, Blake Austin has dominated discussions due to his uncertain future. He started this game again with a point to prove. A lovely dummy carved open Warrington. He found support in Aidan Sezer who found Sam Walters to score.
After defending their own line for a set Leeds marched down field with an excellent set of six and on the last tackle Sezer and Richie Myler combined feed Ash Handley to score.
A sensational start continued as Leeds looked too fast for Warrington. Again a try for Ash Handley as Leeds attacked wide with Cameron Smith’s looping ball found Rhyse Martin who put Handley in for a second.
Already on top, the Rhinos now have a man advantage after a yellow card for Sam Kasiano for a shoulder charge.
The incident came after Nene MacDonald brilliantly took Josh Drinkwater’s kick and burst through the middle of the field.
On a quick play the ball and a six again, Handley carved through and Kasiano was desperate to stop him but hit him with a shoulder charge.
Chris Kendall subsequently brandished a yellow card and gave Kasiano his marching orders for 10 minutes.
Kendall wasn’t very impressed with the tackle. He warned Kasiano as he sent him off.
He said: “Right, so it is a shoulder charge and you are very lucky you didn’t get it wrong.”
