Championship side sign Italy international fresh off his World Cup performance

London Broncos suffered a disappointing campaign in the Championship in 2022 but are already bolstering their squad with international talent for the 2023 season.

The Broncos have announced the signing of Italian international Ethan Natoli who is coming off the back of his 2021 World Cup performances.

Natoli had been playing his rugby in the New South Wales Cup for Newtown Jets but will make the switch to England following Visa approval.

He’ll add plenty to a Broncos side hoping to improve on their 11th placed finish in the Championship with the Italian international able to play loose forward, second row and also centre.

His seven appearances for Italy will make him one of the more experienced players with Director of Rugby and Performance Mike Eccles commenting on his arrival.

“Ethan is a great addition to our squad, and we’re delighted to have him onboard. He’s a hard-working player who runs hard too and we’re very excited to get him engrained in the squad during pre-season.

“Ethan is a solid utility player who is equally at home as a loose forward, second row and centre. That versatility is great for us, and we wish Ethan a successful time with the club.”

Natoli himself stated: “I’m so pleased to have signed for the Broncos.”

“My Italian teammates Dean (Parata) and Ronny (Palumbo) have really enjoyed their time at the club which was great to hear. I’m excited to be part of the Broncos’ journey and hope we can get some good results next season.”
