Championship side could be set for amazing attendance thanks to insane offer

The Championship is one of the best rugby league competiti0n’s around.

It is competitive and has a special flavour to it.

Over the weekend we saw the Championship’s big weekend over in York for the Summer Bash.

Nearly 7,000 attended the event which was a special event.

League leaders Featherstone Rovers defeated hosts York RLFC, Bradford Bulls gained revenge for their derby defeat to Keighley Cougars.

Toulouse Olympique were beaten in the shock of the week by London Broncos.

Another surprise was seeing one of the teams many expected to finish in the top three lost to a side many expected to struggle.

That was of course Batley Bulldogs defeating Halifax Panthers which sent the Bulldogs all the way to the top three.

Many had written them off going into this season after a number of players left the club but they have managed it brilliantly.

They will have plenty of fans in seats for their next game as they welcome fans for free against York RLFC on Sunday with a double header taking place with Team Colostomy UK playing before hand.
