Another brilliant weekend of Championship action is now in the rear view mirror as they gun for Super League promotion and the right to play the likes of Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves.
The action started on Saturday as Toulouse Olympique retook second spot from Batley Bulldogs with a 34-12 win over the Yorkshire side.
The second half saw the French side win 22-0 as they took the victory.
In the Championship, Barrow Raiders gave Featherstone Rovers a real scare as they were all square at the break at 10-all but the Rovers won 20-10 to keep their lead at the top.
Halifax Panthers got back on track with a huge 50-12 win over Newcastle Thunder with Lachlan Walmsley notching another brace.
Widnes Vikings built on their recent win over Bradford Bulls with a 38-22 win over the Keighley Cougars away.
That was a high scoring affair very different to London Broncos’ 12-6 win away at Swinton Lions.
As for Bradford, they trailed 18-10 at the break against Whitehaven only to storm to an amazing 44-1o won.
York meanwhile upset Sheffield Eagles with a 23-18 win to conclude a great day in the Betfred Championship this afternoon.
Next week the focus shifts to the 1895 Cup semi-finals.
London Broncos and Halifax Panthers meet on Saturday at 17:00.
On Sunday it is the turn of York and Batley Bulldogs. They are fighting to join the big hitters at Super League at Wembley as part of an triple header with the Men’s and Women’s Challenge Cup Finals.
