Championship club launch striking new kit with special message

Keighley Cougars have launched a striking new kit for the Championship Bash which more than makes a statement about the club’s commitment to pride.

The concept was introduced to be the Championship’s Magic Weekend and was originally held at Blackpool.

Last year it was moved to Leeds Rhinos’ Headingley stadium but in 2023 will move to York RLFC and like other clubs Bradford have produced a striking new kit for the occasion.

Following in the footsteps of Featherstone Rovers and Widnes Vikings, the Cougars have released a kit for the Bash but unlike their Championship rivals, the Cougars have gone for a much more radical and bold approach.

As seen below:

It is a busy period for the Cougars. They are on the look out for a new coach after Rhys Lovegrove’s departure.

Despite the fun of form that led to Lovegrove’s departure, a successful season can still be achieved with the Cougars’ star studded squad.
