Challenge Cup semi-finals: TV details, venue and ticket prices

Tickets are now on sale for the Betfred Challenge Cup triple-header at Leeds United’s Elland Road Stadium on Saturday 7 May.

A feast of Rugby League entertainment includes the semi-finals of the men’s competition and the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final. This will be the third time in succession that the women’s final features as part of a triple header, following triumphs for Leeds Rhinos at the University of Bolton Stadium in 2019 and St Helens at Leigh Sports Village in 2021.

Elland Road is no stranger to Rugby League folklore, having hosted matches such as the famous men’s Challenge Cup Final replay between Hull FC and Widnes in 1982, St Helens’ Mal Meninga-inspired Premiership Trophy success in 1985, and Leeds Rhinos’ World Club Challenge victory over Melbourne Storm in 2008.

Mark Foster, the RFL’s Chief Commercial Officer, says: “Saturday 7 May promises to be another memorable Elland Road occasion, with the Women’s Challenge Cup up for grabs and four men’s teams aiming to become the first Rugby League sides to play at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 28 May.

“With Elland Road boasting a capacity of almost 38,000, Rugby League fans can help smash the current record for a domestic women’s fixture – the 4,235 set at the 2021 Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final at Headingley last October. And if last year’s semi-finals between Hull FC and St Helens and Castleford Tigers and Warrington Wolves are anything to go by, this is an occasion not to be missed.”

The Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup will kick off on the weekend of March 12-13, when the Betfred Challenge Cup will reach the Fifth Round stage – ahead of the Betfred Super League heavyweights, including Cup holders St Helens, joining the competition in the Sixth Round.

Tickets are available online now from only £25 Adults and £12.50 Concessions/Under 16s.

All three games will be shown live by the BBC.
