All 12 Super League teams have entered the Challenge Cup with the draw for the Third Round of the competition throwing up some great ties.
The Challenge Cup has undergone a structure change in 2025 with the first three rounds scheduled to take place before the Super League season begins and with Round Three marking the stage at which Super League clubs join the competition.
Previously, Super League teams entered when there are just 16 teams remaining in the competition which has failed to provide many opportunities for giant killings but that is not the case this year.
Due to the disruption to Round One when just three of the 17 ties could be played, a total of 66 teams were in the third round tonight despite just 16 ties being made.
The twelve Super League clubs are seeded and will play away from home in Round Three with those fixtures set to be played on the weekend of February 8th and 9th. They will join the 20 winners from Round Two to comprise the draw.
