The draw for the fourth round of the Challenge Cup has been completed and some brilliant ties have been made.
After Round Three took place last weekend, it was time for the fourth round draw as 16 teams waited to find out who they would face for a chance to make it to the quarter-finals.
Super League teams entered the competition earlier this year as they joined 20 teams from the Championship, League One and community game. Eleven of the twelve teams cruised through but Castleford Tigers were the sole Super League side to lose, being defeated by Bradford Bulls last Sunday.
That means that the fourth round Challenge Cup draw comprised 11 Super League teams and five Championship teams with those teams being Bradford, Featherstone Rovers, Batley Bulldogs, Oldham and Widnes Vikings.
The draw was conducted at halftime of the Super League game between St Helens and Salford Red Devils with Robbie Hunter Paul and Paul Sculthorpe in charge.
Holders Wigan Warriors were the last home team to be drawn with Hull FC set to face them. Last year’s finalists Warrington Wolves will travel to face Widnes Vikings whilst the tie of the round is the clash between St Helens and Leeds Rhinos, at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
