Challenge Cup Final ticket sales latest as Wigan Warriors set to meet Huddersfield Giants

The Challenge Cup Final will take place at Tottenham Hotspur’s brand spanking new stadium in just under a fortnight’s time.

Wigan Warriors will do battle against the Huddersfield Giants following stunning semi-final victories last weekend.

Whilst Wigan were able to just about overcome St Helens in a 20-18 victory, the Giants recorded a demolition job on Hull KR with a 25-4 win.

That has set up a mouthwatering tie in the new home for 2022 with plenty of neutrals expected to flock down to London to get a grip of the new stadium.

However, rugby league did encounter some problems with ticket sales in last week’s triple header at Elland Road with just over 23,000 tickets being sold.

Since then, the rugby league fraternity have tried their utmost to market the final in a bid to fill the 60,000 plus seater stadium.

Wigan have been ruthless in that respect, with over 7,300 tickets sold already from the club’s end.

Huddersfield have also been approached for comment with regards to their own sales.

The town of Huddersfield itself could have a remarkable weekend if the football club, Huddersfield Town, reach the play-off final at Wembley on the same weekend.
