The match officials for Saturday’s Challenge Cup Final between Hull KR and Wigan Warriors have been confirmed.
Liam Moore will take charge at Wembley Stadium, in what is the fourth Cup Final of his career.
Moore took charge of the 2025 Final between Hull KR and Warrington Wolves, as well as the 2021 and 2020 events – and in the latter he became the youngest ever referee to do so.
Moore has overseen 15 matches this season, per RugbyLeagueProject, and in that time he has officiated Wigan three times and Hull KR three times – including in the World Club Challenge.
Chris Kendall will be the video referee, with Marcus Griffiths and Mark Craven acting as touch judges.
It will be a proud day for the Moore family, with Liam’s younger brother, Aaron, taking charge of the Women’s Challenge Cup Final between Wigan Warriors and St Helens.
Moore has taken charge of the last two Challenge Cup Finals, both of which were held at Wembley.
Helping him in that one will be Liam Rush, who has been named as video referee, and Ryan Cox and Gareth Jones, who have been named as touch judges.
