In another mouth-watering all Super League tie, 2018 Challenge Cup Winners Catalans take on Wakefield in a battle between one of Super League’s 100% starters and a Trinity side without a win in 2021. They meet in the cup for the second consecutive season.
The Dragons have an almost fully fit squad. They’re missing the likes of Michael McIlorum and Joel Tomkins through suspension and their only injury concerns are Mickael Goudemand and Arthur Romano. I expect them to go for their strongest available 17 despite the presence of a few talented youngsters in their squad as they go in search of their second Challenge Cup.
I fancy Wakefield to also go for their strongest available team even giving a first appearance of the season to Max Jowitt as he returns from injury. They will be without Eddie Battye and Kyle Wood both of whom are missing through calf injuries.
