Catalans v St Helens: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Champions St Helens take on the high-flying Catalans Dragons today. The Saints are thus far unbeaten in the league as they defend their title. Meanwhile, the Dragons have only lost one of their opening six games and sit third in the league. Always formidable at home, they’ll be tough to beat.

On the back of a brilliant win at Hull FC on Monday, Catalans welcome back Gil Dudson from suspension. Dudson will no doubt provide further power to the Dragons pack. However, they’ll still be without high profile forwards Paul Seguier and Matt Whitley through injury. There’ll be no place for Jason Baitieri either as he misses out on the 21 man squad.

As for Saints, I fancy them to go unchanged for this one although the likes of Lewis Dodd and Josh Simm other options for rotation. Morgan Knowles will remain at 13 after his return last week whilst Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook will persist at prop as he enjoys an underrated season.
