Catalans v Salford: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Two teams with differing starts to the Super League season butt heads today on Sky Sports. For the first time in months, Super League goes to France as Catalans look to maintain their 100% start to the season. They’ll face a Salford side desperate to claim their first league win of the season after an emphatic cup win against Widnes last week. Last year’s cup finalists however have yet to find their groove in the league.

The big news for Catalans is the potential return of Michael McIlorum. His lengthy ban has now been served and I fancy him to return to the side potentially in the place of young Arthur Mourgue despite his impressive start to the season. However, Joel Tomkins remains suspended whilst Mickael Goudemand and Arthur Romano are still missing through injury.

Like Catalans, there’s good news for Salford with the potential return of Kevin Brown and the brilliant Elijah Taylor. Interestingly, Krisnan Inu was left out of the squad and will be joined by Dan Sarginson, Ryan Lannon and Danny Addy whilst Joe Burgess and Greg Burke continue to battle injuries.
