Catalans v Hull KR: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

The table-topping Catalans take on another of Super League’s surprise packages this season in the shape of Hull KR today. The Robins currently occupy a place in the top six and a win away in France would only help their pursuit of play-off rugby. As for the Dragons, they’ll be hoping for business as usual as they look to secure their 10th consecutive win.

The Dragons won’t be making many changes from the side who beat Leeds last week. With the likes of James Maloney and Joel Tomkins still unavailable, the French outfit will be forced to go with what they’ve got left. Arthur Mourgue will remain in the halves alongside Josh Drinkwater whilst Mickael Goudemand will likely be rewarded for his recent good form with yet another start.

As for the Robins, after their Covid outbreak they’re back to full strength. Tony Smith has settled on Rowan Milnes at six allowing Mikey Lewis to ply his trade on loan at York. That said, it’s less simple for Smith in other positions. With a fully fit and virus free squad, he has some selection headaches on his hands. The right wing spot is open for either Ben Crooks or Greg Minikin to claim whilst their plethora of backrow options means it’ll be difficult for Smith to settle on his strongest starting pack.
