Catalans are in a race to make this evening’s match against Warrington after their flight was diverted.

The Dragons were unable to board their charter plane in Perpignan after it was redirected to Toulouse due to the fierce tramontana wind around the Mediterranean.

The players are now driving the two-and-a-half hour trip to Toulouse in a bid to catch the flight and make the 6pm kick-off in Warrington.

Catalans have played the fewest Super League games of any team this season, winning five and losing three of their eight matches.

Their game against the Wolves is part of a double-header at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with Wigan facing Wakefield at 8.15pm.
