Catalans Dragons vs Warrington Wolves: Kick-off time, TV Channel and Team News

Because we are fast approaching Easter it means we are also enjoying Super League’s Rivals Round.

There have been some big games including a basement battle between West Yorkshire rivals Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers on Thursday which had a huge impact on the relegation battle at this early stage.

On Good Friday we were treated to our traditional derby clashes as Hull KR battered Hull FC and Wigan Warriors defeated Champions St Helens.

But one of the biggest games, at least in terms of the league table, is the game with the biggest distance between the opponents as Warrington Wolves travel to France to take on the Catalans Dragons.

The two only have one defeat between them making it a huge top of the table clash between first and second.

With the game expected to attract a big crowd the Dragons have elected to put up a temporary stand releasing the following statement:

“The club, which is preparing for a large attendance for this Easter Saturday, has decided to rent a temporary stand that will be installed in place of the old south stand.

“This temporary stand will be operational for a month and used for receptions in Warrington and St Helens on Friday 5 May.”

Kick-off Time and TV Channel

The game kicks off at 5pm UK time.

Sky Sports’ coverage starts on Arena at 16:45 straight after Leigh Leopards vs Salford Red Devils.

Team News

Warrington’s star signing former World Cup winner Josh McGuire is set for his debut after missing the opening seven rounds through suspension for using inappropriate language.

Matty Russell is also named despite limping off against Hull FC. He will have to battle with Josh Thewlis for a place on the wing.

There is still no Daryl Clark.

As for Catalans Dragons, they have lost Mitchell Pearce and Sam Tomkins.

New signing Taukeiaho is back in the mix however.
