Catalans Dragons vs St Helens: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

A Grand Final rematch is always a big occasion but for Catalans, this game has added significance.

They haven’t beaten St Helens in 2022 yet and are losing ground on them at the top of the table especially after defeat to Castleford last week.

As for the Saints they again appear unstoppable and another win at the expense of the Dragons would only cement their status as front runners.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 17:00 UK time.

TV coverage starts at 16:55 on Sky Sports Mix.

Predicted Line-ups

Catalans Dragons
Injuries to Mike McMeeken and Tom Davies will force Steve McNamara into changes as the Dragons host St Helens. Fortunately with regards to Davies’ absence, centre Dean Whare is back which could enable Arthur Romano to move onto the wing with Whare taking over the centre spot. In the backrow meanwhile, Joe Chan will come into the starting 17 with Sam Kasiano possibly returning to the bench.

St Helens
For Kristian Woolf’s side, there will be little in the way of change with no new injury concerns asides from Will Hopoate’s continued absence after being left out of the side who defeated Leeds last week. In his place at fullback young Jon Bennison did very well and will start there again as Jack Welsby continues to partner Jonny Lomax. In a boost for the Champions Sione Mata’utia is back and could return to the back row with Curtis Sironen dropping to the bench. Alternatively, Mata’utia could replace Ben Davies at centre.
