Two of the top teams in the league meet today with the added spice that the Giants come into the game on the back of a heart breaking Challenge Cup Final defeat.

The Giants looked set to win until in the dying minutes a Liam Marshall try snatched the trophy away from them. Still with big ambitions in the league, they need a response against a team above them in the league.

As for Catalans, they’re going under the radar somewhat in 2022 and need to keep things on track.

The Giants have lost four of the 17 who played at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium last week. Olly Russell, Chris Hill, Luke Yates and Oliver Wilson all drop out for various reasons and Theo Fages is still unavailable. The three forwards will likely be replaced by three of Michael Lawrence, Nathan Mason, Jack Ashworth and Sam Hewitt whilst Will Pryce will replace Russell in the halves alongside Jack Cogger.
