There’s been a lot of talk about Catalans Dragons’ rebuild in recent weeks with players announcing their own departures.

After Sam Kasiano, Gil Dudson and Joe Chan’s moves have all been confirmed with the former two going to Warrington and Chan NRL bound.

However, the likes of Samisoni Langi, Romain Franco, Corentin Le Cam and Benjamin Jullien have all announced their exits with Jullien outlining his disappointment at being let go.

Now the Dragons have themselves announced these departures including two more. Catalans have let go of Mathieu Cozza and Dean Whare as well.

Whare has been recently linked with a move to Wigan Warriors with the Cherry and Whites looking to strengthen the centre position with Kai Pearce-Paul’s future up in the air alongside Jake Bibby.

They’ve also signed Toby King on loan for next year from Warrington after a deal for King to Huddersfield whom he joined on loan this year not being resolved with Jake Wardle also not making his way to Warrington.

Clearly not content with not just King, the Warriors are set to add Whare to their ranks whilst plenty of other Dragons are available to be signed by Super League rivals.

It is a shame to see so many young French stars let go but now they can forge their way through other routes.
