Catalans Dragons took on Featherstone Rovers in the south of France this afternoon.
Brandon Pickersgill broke the deadlock for Rovers early on and they stunned their French opponents with a Joey Leilua try to make it 10-0.
A double Fouad Yaha double brought the score back to 10-8 and that was how both sides went into the break.
Another Leilua try shortly after half-time took Featherstone out to a 14-8 lead, but tries from Sam Kasiano, Tyrone May and Tom Davies handed the Dragons a 24-14 lead.
A Sam Tomkins penalty made it 26-14 and then the Catalans fullback slotted over a drop-goal to round off the scoring at 27-24.
